Vladislav Toronov

Biography

Vladislav Toronov is an Associate Professor of Medical Physics, Ryerson University, and a research member of iBEST Institute, Toronto, Canada. He received his PhD in Physics from Saratov State University, Russia. Before accepting his current faculty position, he was a senior research scientist in Biomedical Physics in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include biomedical applications of optics and photonics, quantum sensing, and brain imaging and modeling. His research papers have been cited more than 3,000 times.
