Biography

Matthew is a Health Sciences (HHSP) graduate from McMaster University, and began working with the St. Michael’s Hospital Emergency Department in the summer of 2023.

Matthew has a wealth of experience in website management and social media outreach, ensuring that digital platforms remain engaging, informative, and user-friendly with fresh forms of content. His efforts have consistently focused on effective knowledge dissemination, creating accessible and impactful communication materials for diverse groups involved with FIRST60.

His primary research engagements lie in resuscitation, social determinants in health, transfusion, and healthcare quality improvement. However, he enjoys reading and studying all types of medical research, with keen interests in immunology, pharmacodynamics, and pathophysiology.
