Biography

Anisa Nazir joined Dr. Nolan and his team in 2020 as Masters student. In 2023, she successfully transferred to her PhD where she is focusing on adverse events in trauma care. 

Anisa holds a number of leadership roles outside of her academic pursuits, both locally and nationally. She is currently part of the St. Michael’s Hospital Research Equity Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) committee and recently named Vice Chair for the CAEP 24 EM in Diverse Contexts Track.

In addition to her research interests in patient safety and quality improvement, she is also passionate about advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in health research spaces for trainees.
